Since 1997, I have been originating mortgages for thousands of clients across the United States. The mortgage business has been a “family business” for me. My aunt and uncle live in the Washington D.C. area and had successfully worked in the industry for many years prior to my graduation from Auburn University in 1997 with a degree in Finance. Mortgage work seemed like the natural career path for me. My journey in this business began more than 20 years ago in my hometown of Gainesville, Florida. After a brief time in Jacksonville, Florida, my family moved to Northern Virginia where I was a mortgage loan officer for many years. In 2009, my family moved back to Florida and I’ve continued working in the mortgage business in Ponte Vedra Beach. Since the beginning, I have been involved in every function in the mortgage process from origination to loan closing. I would like to say I have seen it all, but that isn’t quite true since this business is never routine! It’s very important to me that I communicate openly with my clients, and all parties involved in the transaction, throughout the loan process. My motto is, “Let’s start fast and finish slow.” Being proactive is the best way to make the mortgage process simple and on time.
I live in Ponte Vedra/Nocatee, Florida with my wife of 20 years and three children. Coaching my children’s sports teams is my main passion outside of work, along with playing golf and going fishing coming in close behind! It’s important to work with a seasoned and experienced loan professional who will guide you through the mortgage process. Trust and accountability are invaluable. I encourage you to check out my credentials on my Linked In profile and read my extensive client reviews on Zillow. Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business! I look forward to working alongside you.
